Maia Institute
The Maia Institute, a mental and behavioral healthcare center headquartered in the DC Metro Area, is focused on the provision of comprehensive, high-end, evidence-based, best practices subspecialized patient care, expert consultation services, and the development of tools that support efficient and advanced medical practice. Maia is unique in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area for the scope of expert services offered by its multidisciplinary team of professionals: a group of board-certified physicians, each with at least one psychiatric sub-specialty, psychologists, and social workers serving patients who require the most critical, intensive, and sophisticated mental health interventions.
The concept of the Maia Institute was conceived following years of experience in psychiatric practice, which yielded an amalgamated vision of what psychiatric care could be, as opposed to where it stands today.
